Home Learning Survey

Dear Parents/Carers,

Firstly, we would like to thank you for your patience and support over the past few weeks. The children have settled back into school life well and have been busy catching up with any missed learning.

Moving forward, we anticipate that there will need to be a mixture of face to face teaching in the classroom and home learning for children as families and children are required to self-isolate.

In light of this, we have devised a questionnaire to consult with you on how best we can support you in accessing your child’s learning at home.

Technology will play a vital role in keeping connected with our whole school community and allow teachers to set children work. We would like to consider using an online platform to set homework and any home learning that may have to take place in an event of a bubble, school or national closure.

To help us understand our community, we would like to collate responses regarding your access to technology at home.

Please answer the questions below to inform our plans going forward (paper copies have also been sent home).

School site*
Do you have regular, reliable access to the internet / Wifi at home?*
Are you likely to incur data charges to access learning?*
Does your child have a device to work from? (phone, ipad, laptop, computer)*
If there is more than 1 child in your household, do they each have access to a device?*
